About Us

  • Sigma Phi Epsilon prides itself as the largest college fraternity in the world, with over 14,000 undergraduates at 250 chapters. More than 275,000 men have joined Sigma Phi Epsilon since its founding on November 1, 1901, in Richmond, Virginia. Sig Ep at Mississippi State has many experiences you will not find in any other student organization on campus. Established here at MSU on April 30, 1938, the Mississippi Beta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon has initiated over 1,300 men of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love.

Sig Ep boasts a stunning fraternity house, newly renovated in the summer of 2008. It is one of the largest fraternity houses in all of the Southeastern Conference. The house has been recognized at the Sigma Phi Epsilon Carlson Leadership Academy as the Chapter House of the Year in 2009. The house has 26 bedrooms, two living areas, a billiards room, an alumni room, beach volleyball court, and a basketball court as well. The chapter takes pride in what it has been able to accomplish at the campus of Mississippi State University, and looks to the future for more opportunities to set Sigma Phi Epsilon apart from the rest.
